A town of Malinska lies in the north-western part of the island and is perfectly sheltered from strong winds. This tourist mecca and the pearl of the island of Krk and Kvarner Riviera for over a century will make all your holiday dreams come true. Owing to its favourable geographical position, huge amounts of sun and Mediterranean flora, this area boasts the most pleasant climate on the island.

But that is not all – Malinska takes pride in one of the most beautiful seaside promenades in Croatia, which you should definitely visit. The Paradise Trail will sweep you off your feet with its breath-taking nature and translucent sea. Surrounded by a thick pine forest that releases aromatic scents, and charming pebble beaches, the trail connects Malinska to adjacent Njivice and the Kijac area.

The construction of the Paradise Trail from the Haludovo beach towards Njivice started way back in 1934, after the land owners conceded their plots and allowed for pines to be planted there. Thanks to its beneficial effects on health, the promenade soon became very popular.

It is ideal for both jogging and taking long walks, especially if you are into meditation or need a dose of positive energy. Today it is a favourite meeting place for many sports enthusiasts, bathers, and families with kids and pets.

When walking the trail, be sure to take a pause in the shade of the Mediterranean trees, and deeply inhale the scented air while marvelling at the turquoise sea and fishing boats out in the open sea. This trail offers one-of-a-kind Mediterranean feel!
