Even though it is only 7.5 kilometres long, mountain bikers will find this trail perfect for building their power and endurance for both climbs and downhills on a demanding terrain. Also, the trail passes along picturesque olive groves and drystone walls and has a rewarding view of Punat Cove and the islet of Košljun.
The trail starts with a steep climb on an ancient path, used by the residents of Punat to reach their olive groves and arable land. It will not take you long to get to the Tri križi viewpoint. Take a moment to enjoy the view of Punat, old olive groves and the surrounding pristine nature. A mild uphill section will then take you to a crossroads, where you will turn left for a downhill ride on a macadam road, leading to a more demanding narrow path along drystone walls and olive groves all the way to the coast. What follows is a pleasant ride through Marina Punat, one of the most awarded Croatian marinas, to the centre of Punat.
