The island’s MTB rock’n’roll

A short circular trail for experienced mountain bikers. It is ideal for technically advanced riders, who will test their endurance over rocky terrain (enduro).

It starts on an asphalt road in the centre of Punat and after a while switches to a macadam road leading to the Tri križi viewpoint, with a slope greater than 20% at certain sections – perfect for steep hill training. The four-kilometre ride will take you to the highest point of the trail, at almost 300 m above sea level, followed first by an undemanding section, and then by a true island’s rock’n’roll experience: a challenging two-kilometre descent with hardly no room for mistakes.

Cycling on a rocky surface along drystone walls will definitely be worth the effort when you take a break to enjoy a mesmerising view of the western side of the Krk island and Punat Cove with the islet of Košljun.
